What We Do

project 001

Music Gives

Started in 2016, our Music Gives program engages every 16” on Center Chicago live music venue including Thalia Hall, The Empty Bottle, The Promontory, Evanston SPACE, and Empty Bottle Presents. For every tickets sold, guests can donate $1–$10 to a charity chosen quarterly. As a result of this program, we've been able to support various programs such as Social Works, 826CHI, and many more.

Project 002

sound bites

Started in 2017, our Sound Bites program showcases artists playing at Thalia Hall with a custom dish created by our chefs, driven by that home-cooked meal the artist craves most while on the road. The dish is featured on Dusek’s menu and the proceeds from the dish go to a charity of the artist’s choice. As a result of this program, we've been able to support charities such as Chicago Food Depository, Social Works Chicago, Music For Relief, Rebuild Foundation and many more.

PROJECT 003

Moneygun Charity Club

Moneygun Charity Club is a year-round initiative in which $1 of every sale of a MonthlyGun signature cocktail is donated to a local Chicago non-profit. Each month, a different charity is selected by the team and featured in the menu alongside the cocktails. T-shirts are provided to any guest who directly donates $25 or more to the highlighted charity. As a result, we’ve donated to organizations such as Hope for the Day and Association House of Chicago.

Free Mondays is a weekly live music series at The Empty Bottle with no cover charge, that exists to make live music available to more artists and fans. Free Mondays supports and mentors up-and-coming artists, removes barriers to entry for new fans, and feeds the community’s love for creating and enjoying live music.
